The new gameplay trailer for The Relic: First Guardian is remarkable:
presented during the IGN Fan Fest, the video shows a series of extremely spectacular fights, in a real feast of colors and effects, especially particle effects.
In short, on a visual level, the title developed by Project Cloud Games, which should land on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S during this year, is really a lot of stuff: the aforementioned effects, but also the animations and character design paint the picture of a particularly interesting project.
The feeling, moreover, is that the gameplay is no less: the mechanics seem to be those of a truly solid and competent soulslike, while the protagonist takes up various weapons and delivers devastating charged blows against opponents who are always different but equally disturbing.

The dark fantasy setting of the game is that of the kingdom of Arsiltus, fallen into ruin following the destruction of an ancient relic that opened a void in the heart of the earth, sucking in every living creature and transforming this place into a kingdom of death.
Under the command of the last guardian, a powerful and determined warrior, we will therefore have to undertake a dangerous journey through these now desolate lands with the aim of finding the fragments of the relic and trying to recompose it to restore peace and a future to the kingdom.
